Andy Thompson is a self-employed owner-driver based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, offering a light removals/ same day courier service to private individuals and businesses needing light goods/ furniture/ household effects moved either locally or anywhere in the UK or Ireland.

Customers include art galleries, antique dealers, students moving to/from single room accommodation, public service workers relocating, businesses needing unexpected deliveries, possibly at short notice, musicians'/DJs'/exhibition equipment to venues, anyone needing airfreight collected from airports   ...or just a bed moved across town.

"Man & Van" means exactly that...  ONE man and a van.  The driver is able and willing to assist with manhandling your items in and out of your property but you will also be required to help with the heavier items. By not going double manned your price is kept to the minimum possible  ...a little more than self-drive but less than a full removals service.   Having said that, if your job can be done in a couple of hours it  will cost less than hiring a self-drive van for the day.

The Van:   A three and a half tonne Fiat Ducato long-wheelbase high-roof van with good side and rear access.  Interior loadspace of approximately 11.5ft long x 6ft wide x 6ft high.  (exact figures on "vehicle dimensions" page).  The van is able to safely carry loads of up to 1.3 tonnes, which is normally more than enough weight capacity for a full load of furniture and personal belongings.

The Owner/Driver/Porter:   Andy has worked in transport and warehousing for the last twenty-five years and is a Class one HGV licence holder.   Taking a pride in being one of the best "Man and Vans" he aims to offer a polite, helpful, punctual and low-cost service available 24/7 and at short notice if available.
